Counseling will work with all students to identify career interests through Naviance program. Strengths Explorer, Career Cluster Finder, Career Interest Profiler
Career Specialist Web Page. All sophomores will attend Career Day. Juniors and seniors are invited to participate in mentoring, apprenticeships or internships.

LOCAL PROGRAMS
- DARS (State program) comes to WAHS to meet with students and families to help them plan and prepare for careers. They offer onsite evaluations in town or on-campus programs at WWRC. Referral application for DARS linked here.
- PERT Program at WWRC (delivered by DARS for students currently enrolled in secondary schools, referral through schools)
- Amazing list of resources developed by Cheryl Ribando, local parent and activist
- Resources for employment support developed by Cheryl Ribando
- DARS Pre-ETS = first year of pilot program to work with younger students (age 14 and up). Our local contact is Kari Hirst.
- WorkSource Enterprises trains individuals with disabilities for local jobs. Funding usually comes through DARS.
- WIOA Jennifer Johnson helps students find jobs and get certification.
